The Swivel Base 6 are milled from solid blocks of aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points.  The Swivel Base 6 has a textured, aggressive ground contact surface and 4 holes large enough to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the bases to strongbacks and shoring lumber. The strut cup is designed to rotate and swivel up to 20° off vertical in any direction.
